The fee for a tuning appointment is $125. This fee includes an initial coarse tuning (“pitch raise”), and about 15 minutes or so of repair or regulation before the fine tuning. The fees for more substantial repair work or regulation can be quoted once a piano is inspected, typically during a tuning appointment.

I work with traditional materials as much as is possible, including traditional glues and lubricants. In particular, I do not use organofluorines (PFAS, Teflon, etc.) for any purpose while servicing pianos.

Biography:

Daniel Sadowsky received a B.A. in Music from the University of Delaware in 2006, studying classical piano under Marie-Christine Delbeau. In addition to his work as a piano technician, he has worked extensively as a vocal, instrumental, and choral accompanist. He currently serves as cantor at St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church and is active as an Associate Member of the Buffalo Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild.
